During the promotion of Qala, Babil said in an interview that when Irrfan passed away, it hit him a week later. It was a very difficult time for him. Talking with Bollywood Bubble, Babil had said, “When this happened to us, at first I could not believe it. When a week passed, I was hit. I was in a very bad state. Was locked in the room for 45 days.” How did Babil get over the absence of father Irfan? Answering this question, Babil said that often father used to go out for long shoots. He used to return home in many days. In such a situation, I told myself that one day he would come back from his shoot.

“Slowly started realizing that this shoot has been scheduled for countless days. He is not going to come. I have lost my best friend. I was so broken that I can’t express that feeling in words.
