Patriots-Cardinals takeaways: Pats jump into AFC playoff spot with 27-13 win

Even though it wasn't nice, the New England Patriots managed to defeat

the Arizona Cardinals on Monday night, giving them a much-needed victory. I

In a 27-13 triumph, the Patriots defence  took advantage of a Cardinals offence

that had quarterback Kyler Murray go down with an injury after only three plays,

in addition to inducing two more turnovers (one of which was returned for a score).

The Patriots' offence didn't show much progress, but there were some encouraging signs,

such as the offensive line allowing only one sack and the run game averaging 4.9 yards per carry.

Mac Jones, the quarterback for the Patriots, completed 24 of his 35 pass attempts for 235 yards,

one interception, and no touchdowns. With four games left, New England now holds

the third wild card place in the AFC, setting up what should be a thrilling and chaotic conclusion to the regular season.
