I feel powerful : Al Roker appears on show after long medical break
Al Roker of the "Today Show" delivered an eloquent monologue during his
first live performance after a traumatic hospitalisation for blood clots.
Al Roker said that it had been the worst one yet and that he had undergone numerous
operations during the "Today Show" segment that he presented from his home, saying,
I'm not going to lie, it has been the hardest one yet. He gave thanks for a wide range of things and people.
Al Roker stated that he is incredibly appreciative of the prayers and well wishes
that have been sent his way to help him get through this. He was extraordinarily lucky.
The presenter Hoda Kotb then questioned Al on the course of his rehabilitation.
He said that he lost a specific amount of muscle mass each week throughout his four weeks in the hospital.
