By Daphne Clarance: Shilpa Shetty’s Monday Motivation is all about stepping up no matter what life throws at you. The diva took to Instagram earlier today, giving her online family a glimpse of her exercise routine while she is in her recovery phase.
Shilpa recently underwent a Tibial Plateau Fracture in her left knee. This involves a break of the larger lower leg bone below the knee that breaks into the knee joint itself. She announced her leg injury in August and is now gradually getting back to her regular exercise routine.
A fitness enthusiast, Shilpa shared that in her post-injury recovery phase, she started with the glute-activator exercise using a Wunda Chair, a prop used when doing Pilates.
“No matter what life throws at you, it’s important to STEP UP and face it. On that note, my #MondayMotivation today comes from my post-injury recovery with the ‘Step Up’ glute-activator exercise. It activates and strengthens the glute and leg muscles; and is really good for Prehab and Rehab. I’ve used the Wunda Chair for the perfect form,” she wrote.
In the video, Shilpa is seen wearing gym attire and using a Wunda Chair to help her balance her form and work on her leg muscles, crediting fitness coach Yasmeen Chauhan who is helping her to get back into shape.
