An event was held at the Mandapam in Egmore, Chennai where the OPS members joined the AIADMK. Former Member of Parliament Maitreyan joined the party along with others at the event.
In this case, he said, “I was with OPS when he did Darmayutham. But then my mind changed. I became a sheep over the fence. Jayalalithaa’s real political successor is OPS. Only OPS has the ability to hold the party together. When my health was not good, OPS called me and talked to me,” he said.
